Terms of Service
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Cinaura application and the Cinaura website at cinaura.tv (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What Cinaura is
Cinaura is a personal media library and player for Android TV. It is a neutral tool: it organises and plays media that you provide by connecting your own storage and playback sources (such as network shares, local storage, cloud storage, and debrid services).
Cinaura does not host, store, supply, index, stream, or provide any media content. It does not include a catalogue of media and offers no way to search for or obtain content from us. All content shown in the app comes solely from the sources that you choose to connect and control.
Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You are solely responsible for the sources you connect and for all content you access, store, or play through the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You own, or have the necessary licences, rights, consents, and permissions to access and play all content you load into the app; and
- Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including copyright and intellectual-property laws, and with the terms of any third-party source or service you connect.
You agree that you will not use the Service to:
- access, reproduce, distribute, or publicly perform any content you do not have the legal right to use;
- infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of any third party;
- violate any applicable law or regulation; or
- interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any related systems.
Cinaura is provided on the expectation that you will use it lawfully and in good faith. We are not responsible for the content you choose to access through the Service, and we do not monitor, review, or control that content.
Third-party sources and services
The Service lets you connect third-party sources and services (for example, Dropbox, Google Drive, Real-Debrid, TorBox, AllDebrid, Premiumize, The Movie Database, and Trakt). Those services are operated by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, content, accuracy, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that provider's terms.
Intellectual property
The Cinaura application, website, name, logo, and design are owned by Cinaura and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Cinaura name or branding except as necessary to use the Service as intended. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Copyright and infringement notices
Cinaura hosts and provides no content, so it cannot remove content that resides on third-party sources you control. If you believe that material accessible through a third-party source infringes your copyright, you should contact that source or service provider directly.
If you believe the Service itself infringes your rights, you may send a notice to privacy@cinaura.tv including a description of the rights at issue, the material in question, your contact details, and a statement of your good-faith belief and authority to act. We will respond to valid notices as required by applicable law.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will be compatible with any particular source, device, or content.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinaura and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or the content you access through it. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cinaura and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the content you access through it, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
Changes to the Service and these terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. When we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
